The Eden Project.
On Sunday 26th June we took a coach trip to see the Eden Project in Cornwall, this was the first time Jill and I had made the trip .The project covers a large area about the size of thirty five football pitches.
The enclosed biomes are the biggest conservatories in the world, the humid tropic biome is as high as 11 double-decker buses and 24 long, the temperature ranges between 18-35 deg C.
The plants are not rare and are not taken from the wild; they show us the raw materials, the plants we use every day of our lives.
We were staggered by the size of the plants, some almost reaching the roof.
It was a wonderful day and we will certainly be making a return trip in the near future
