The Grand Children

The grandchildren spent a week with us from the 5th August, we took them down on the train, they are not that keen on the journey as Mitchell said The train goes stop go, stop go there are only fifteen stops.
The weather was very good, sunny all week, we went down to the beach and they made sand castles and carved big faces and fish in the sand. Jill and Alanta waded in the sea and collected sea shells.
Mitchell came bird watching with me one morning at 7am, He likes to be out with his grandad, the only problem is within ten minutes of arriving at the chosen site he was asking for a cup of tea and hotdog, then he wants a pee then another pee, each time I had to pack up the scope to take him to the loo.
Not a bad morning, Mitchell added another two birds to his list, which now stands at about forty species (not bad for a five year old).
Naomi and Rob came down on the Sunday night and stayed for three days. We took the children to monkey world near wareham, set in a beautiful woodland setting this is a rescue centre for abused chimps and other monkeys.
They all returned home on Wednesday evening having had a good time.
All Jill and I have to do now is clear up and have a rest.

William.

This is William, born on the15th May 2005, the son of Chris & Amanda , First grandson for Jean & Dave. A great looking boy who is already 15 lb. (2/9/05).

Epic Journey
Well done To Chris on the compleation of his epic journey, John o'groats to Lands End, over nine hundred miles in two weeks. What a way to spend your holiday, Amanda and William accompanied Chris and they all stayed at B&Bs each night, which had been arranged by Amanda
